Imagine the army going into training unfit and not ready. Imagine them panting and sweating not being able to endure the physically draining demands of the battlefield. Of course, we know you will refuse to imagine this. Because the last frontier of safety of any State is dependent upon those who are tasked to protect the nation.

The need for physical fitness training is underscored in anything which demands taxing and important jobs. Now, even ordinary citizens are training well to be physically fit, what more with those who the State depends on for safety, defense and national security. Imagine football players and basketball players training so hard to be able to win state championships. Of course, it is then demanded that army fitness training is more taxing because the safety of the nation is dependent on those in the army.

Army fitness training involve not only training the outside physical aspect of an individual, but also the physical systems such as cardiovascular strength, muscular endurance, and even the agility.

Army fitness training have a multitude of tests which becomes harder and harder the longer the people are in the training. Subscribing to the overload principle where one must work harder the longer he or she is in training to be able to achieve optimal results.
